Tiles on Copper

Working with slabs of clay & attaching them to copper, brings me to a challenging and exciting dimension.

The ceramic piece contrasts with the metal and thus complements it.  The copper is treated by acid & different atmospheric conditions to create the colours required.  The temperamental behavior of the copper is a world of endless exploration that produces a variety of red, orange & turquoise.

The pieces, “Tile on Copper” are created to be displayed on a wall.
